AMELIA CURRIER

Being an artist was a given to her family, one in which her mother and grandfather were both committed artists. Amelia spent every summer of her youth on the shores of Bois Blanc Island, a pristine jewel that would eventually inform and inspire her work.

Currently she's focusing on wooden assemblages which are constructed of various kinds of wood and found objects yet never strays from her zen Buddhist ink gestures.

Amelia Currier's work is earthy and has influences of ancient Asian culture and traditions.

Styling AMELIA CURRIER works at home

Amelia's artworks have the incredible ability to bring peace and calm. Her use of locally sourced natural materials in sculptures and her organic ink gestures make her work very intimate, perfect for a small space, and bring a sense of coziness, of zen, to your house.
